How To Involve Your Progress Buddies in Your Ritual

The road to progress isn’t always better alone. Here’s how you can involve your chosen favorites for yous.

Going on your progress journey alone allows for clarity and introspection. Having parts or moments alone lets us self-reflect, discover and explore parts of ourselves that help develop who we genuinely are and what we want to do.

While we hold this ideal to our core, it could get pretty lonely. For some Women in Progress®️, they may admit to feeling more empowered to take on their journey when they know they're not alone. Not falling into the slippery slope of unnecessary competition, the feeling of being connected to someone while going through progress could give us a sense of community. That quiet knowledge of being in solidarity with people who are going through growth and learning is a comfort when things could get overwhelming.

For some, it could be a group of people or that one person we love to go to whenever we want to share the experiences of progress. Whoever or no matter how many they are, here's how we can include them in our rituals for that extra sense of connection on our journey to progress:

Find (or create) your productive space.

We always used to have the conception that working alone is the number one way to get things done, but we love just being able to be with our chosen favorites!

Try it out if you and your progress buddies need a change of scenery or simply an excuse to see each other! Find a cozy little cafe or restaurant where you could coexist and get things done, noting if it's a conducive environment for both of you. Prefer to stay in? Go the extra mile. Set up a beverage or snack station and make it comfortable for your favorites, or choose a great playlist as background. You won't need much, but that could give that extra boost for your party.

Don't be afraid to communicate if you need them to put you back on track (or when either of you needs to take a break!)

Share a skin session.

Although we have different skin stories and a different journey overall, having someone to share an experience with doubles the fun and motivation to stay on track. Getting a mindset that focuses on empowering each other could give us the boost all parties could need to carry through with our (skin) journey.

Make the choice that won't only give you and your chosen one the experience you'll both look forward to keeping. Take one that gives you double the benefit.

Your choice from our Progress Plans will give you an easy way to commit to your skin goals with pre-designed sessions meant to be the minimum to start seeing skin progress. All you'd need to do is: choose, purchase and show up. Although our skin experts will recommend the best dates for your next session, you can avail your sessions at any time at any of Our Spaces. Best part? You get additional savings by committing to skin.

Get talking with your favorite progress buddy and explore our Progress Plans for skincare that makes sense in a Space that piques both your senses for an experience for the mind, soul, and skin.

Expand boundaries.

Just because you and your progress buddy (or group!) have set on your journey, it's not too late to incorporate new activities or hobbies you could all enjoy. Think— is there anything in the world you have mentioned as exciting to try out or explore? Chances are, in the hustle and bustle, you both might have overlooked it and thought the opportunity had passed. Here to tell you it's never too late!

Not only would you all be able to expand your boundaries, but you might also be able to explore or uncover perspectives, views or skills left untapped. How different or similar are you with creative work, or what learning styles do you all have? The share of ideas and perspectives will surprise you. Plus: no matter what your chosen hobby will be, you're bound to find something to bond over.

While our journey towards progress alone gives us much time to know what matters to us and focus on individual growth, we can't trump the value and feeling of community. We can learn how to be part of relationships without feeling the need to outdo each other but uplift and empower one another to be better and better versions of ourselves. Find out what the role of others could be in your journey and how they're part of yours. How will you personally involve them in your rituals from there?
